GinZing Energizing Gel Cream

this has been my holy Grail product for about 10 years now. every now and then I branch to something new, but I always come back to this. Unfortunately, that ends as they have seemed to have changed their formula. The product is now extremely sticky and leaves my face feeling greasy and dirty. It used to be lightweight and moisturizing and now it just feels goopy and gross. They should go back to their original formula.

I’m so confused. I bought the Origins 6 piece Travel Set recently and loved the Ginzing Energizing Gel Cream so much I ordered the full size version. After opening the jar, I noticed the consistency and color was completely different from the travel size gel cream (1 oz) I loved so much. Even the feel of the full size gel cream (1.7) is completely different and not in good way. I’m a little worried to use this product daily because cream moisturizers have always made me breakout. Also, from the looks of it, I received the old packaging and not the newest packaging. I’m so disappointed, this item has become a staple in my routine and really don’t want to order travel sized versions of a product I use so often.

Made the switch from kiehls gel moisturizer because I wanted something with more beneficial ingredients. I stumbled upon this one and decided to give it a try. I have oily skin and thought would control the oil on my skin but it didn't. It had the opposite effect and made my skin even more oily! I even apply a very small amount all over my face.

Last year, I bought 2 Ginzings: the large jar with the oranges on the lid (clearance) and the trial pack with the then new serum and the new formula small jar. The difference between the 2 formulas is staggering...the original is lighter and absorbs into my skin and truly is a wonderful product. This new formula...it's so greasy (I thought this was supposed to be lightweight), never absorbs regardless of how much or how little I use, my face got so red I needed to re-wash my face, AND then I compared the ingredients and found that there's soybean oil in this???? I have acne-prone, dry, sensitive skin. This product used to be my default moisturizer for years because of how light it felt and how well my face was moisturized without the guck the drugstore equivalents have. My OG jar is now half gone and I'm at a loss what to replace it with because it sure won't be this new formula. Manufactured soy products are rarely included in my diet so there's no way I'm putting it on my face again. Why review this so late? I was hoping against hope that the other reviews had convinced a return of the better product, but no. Please reissue the formula...how many near-identical negative testimonies will you answer with "I'm sorry for your bad experience"? Thank you for reading

I've given this version a fair try, using it two days in a row at a time. Each time is the same...sticky, itchy and immediate breakouts around my mouth. My husband ran out of his moisturizer, so I gave it to him. Surely he wouldn't care, right? He couldn't stop sweating and wound up washing it off. I just don't understand how it's still marked as a "best seller." Thankfully Origins is generous with samples, so I had enough of the old to fill a whole jar! I'll be using it sparingly.
