Disappointed with sizing

I have several Saxx ultra free agent underwear sized extra large. These fit extremely well and I am satisfied with them. However, I need some new ones and I tried the day tripper extra large, which does not fit. I then ordered a three pack of day, tripper double extra large and a single Day tripper double extra large. The sizing between these two sets is totally different, neither of which I’m happy with.

Good fit. Material though soft is not cotton. Cotton feels best.

My husband liked this but the mesh doesn’t hold up as long as the compression type.
