Greenwich Waterproof Chelsea Boot (Women)

These boots are made for walking and standing. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and comfortable footwear is important but so is style. While these boots have a lug sole, they are lightweight and don’t look as bulky. They also accommodate my special insoles to prevent and relieve plantar fasciitis with room for mid weight socks. My feet are not wide but the boots have enough room not to pinch my bunions. I wore them straight out of the box and didn’t require breaking in. I have not tested their waterproofing but getting leather boots wet is one last thing to worry about during PNW fall and winter weather. I’m happy with my purchase and so I’m also getting them in black.

I recently purchased the Women's Greenwich Waterproof Chelsea Bootie from Hudson Bay Metrotown, and I must say, I am extremely disappointed with my experience. Despite the seemingly stylish design, the booties proved to be uncomfortable and poorly constructed. From the moment I put them on, I encountered significant foot pain due to the lack of proper arch support and cushioning. Even after attempting to break them in, the discomfort persisted, making it impossible to wear them for more than a few minutes. Considering the reputation of Hudson Bay and the price point of these boots, I expected a much higher level of quality and comfort. Unfortunately, this purchase fell far short of my expectations. Overall, I would not recommend the Women's Greenwich Waterproof Chelsea Bootie to anyone looking for a comfortable and supportive footwear option. Save yourself the hassle and invest in a more reliable brand.
