K-Poncho Heavyweight 3-in-1 Baby Carrier Cover

It is usually windy (10-25mph winds) and cold (10-30F) during the winter, so I was super excited to get this to use with my Ergobaby Omni 360. While it fits on my carrier, it is such a poor quality product! The product does not match the manual - there aren’t any snaps for the straps that attach the cover to the carrier properly. When I reached out to the company, they told me the manual was incorrect and to partially detach the hood and use those buttons to attach the carrier. This method leaves air pockets in the hood! Further, the hood and snaps in general are SO FLIMSY. If my baby moves her head, the hood just detaches. If my baby moves a bit, the snaps detach from each other. The buttons/snaps are so awfully cheap. Finally, the cincher at the bottom just ripped out with gentle force. Overall, just a very frustrating product. We wanted it to work so badly!

I decided to review this as a mother's perspective to the only other review. Now, we live in NY, we have this item from this brand as well as the full stroller muff. I will say we use this every year in fall and early winter. This is absolutely not going to keep your baby warm in NY winter. Personally have had a great experience using this for two years of my son's life from birth to 2 between 60-45 ish degree temperatures. We have attached this to his carrier (babywearing) from a very young age and we still use it as our son is special needs. It is tricky to attach but once you get used to it it works perfectly fine. To address the gaps mentioned in another review we snap the item to itself to the tightness we are looking for around his neck. If he's in the stroller with this same thing. Drawstring has worked perfectly fine for us for 2 straight years and I've washed this thing a million times, no signs of wear at all for me. I personally love this MOST with baby wearing because it has pockets for me to put my hands in and keep me warm too. If you are looking for real warmth I can't recommend the brand's Blanket 212 .....literally my favorite baby product ever from 2 children. That thing provides EXTREME warmth and my son can use all NY winter long and it grows with the child in length. Extremely easy to attach to any stroller, we've used it on 2. Keeps my son so warm can't wear a jacket under it or he absolutely overheats. So easy to open and close. Now that item we use 45 degrees and below, all the way down to a NY day of 5 degrees! Open him up and you can always feel the warmth exuding from his little body!
