C.E.O. Afterglow Brightening Vitamin C Cream

Salesperson Asma sold me THE WRONG product even though I pointed out on the shelf EXACTLY what I wanted because she was too busy speaking French with her colleagues. Now I must return to the store to correct the problem. Five minutes prior to this transaction, I was handled with care by the young woman Shelby at Longchamp. Why do I bother going to the mall?

I think this was the perfect time for me to go ahead and use a vitamin c moisturizer because my skin has been very dull. Not to mention I have had a lot of breakouts lately and for some reason they tend to leave dark spots on my skin once they are gone. I also have had a lot of irritation and my skin has not felt very hydrated or smooth during this cold and dry season. I feel like my skin has not been at its best lately and I just need to take more care of it so my skin can feel the way I need it to. I started to use this and I noticed how much brighter my skin looked after the first appliance. I easily saw also how the redness that I had became less and the irritation was not present. I enjoy how I don't have to use too much of this either as a little does go a long way as I can easily spread this onto my face or wherever I want to apply it. The consistency is also very nice I feel like it is more on the heavier side this cream but I think my skin needs that. The good thing is after using this my skin does not really feel greasy at first it does but once it absorbs in I feel like it's just smooth and feels nice. Overall I have used this a few times now and I can say each time I have enjoyed it and haven't had any kind of weird effects from it at all only just good results.

This is very, very thick. A little goes a long way. It never seems to dry down completely. They say you can wear this as a primer under makeup, I have not tried it that way. Super strong Citrus smell, so anyone sensitive to smells will not like this, it's that strong. I think it's a nice way to incorporate Vitamin C into your skin, but it dies come with a hefty price tag. But, again, it's nice!

I like that it combines vitamin C with a moisturizer so I don’t have to layer multiple hydrating products. This moisturizer simplifies my skincare routine. It leaves my skin feeling nicely hydrated and gives me a healthy, radiant glow that lasts throughout the day. Another big plus is how well it works with my makeup. It doesn’t pill or interfere with the application at all, and I’ve noticed it actually helps keep the oiliness in my T-zone under control. I didn’t see much, if any, of a difference in my hyperpigmentation, and that’s not a dealbreaker for me. Honestly, I haven’t come across any topical product that has made a difference with this issue anyway. There is a bit of a fragrance in this moisturizer. It’s not overpowering, but it has a bit of a stale citrus scent rather than something fresh. It doesn’t remain noticeable, though, after application. Overall, this is a great daily moisturizer for hydration, glow, and a streamlined routine.
