Great shoes
A beautiful and well made shoe. Very comfortable. Unfortunately they were too narrow in the right foot and I didn’t have time for them to stretch before a upcoming trip, so I returned them. Otherwise, I would have kept and gotten them stretched. Length was true to size.

sizing problems
exchanged for a smaller size but it still slips off my feet. I love all my other Mephisto purcheses but this one didn't make it.

Beautiful but not as comfy as expected
I live in my Mephisto sandals in the summer and tried the loafer this fall. I have worn them about two dozen times.
Pros: beautiful leather/gorgeous shoe that can easily be dressed up or down with pants/skirt.
Cons:
1. Initially they did not slip off the back of my heal, but have stretched enough now that they slip. The left slips more than the right.
2. I get Morton’s neuroma off and on. While the toe box of this shoe is wider than several others I tried (and is actually ‘roomy’), my feet are aggravated/angry after about an hour of wear (shopping/grocery store). This never happens in my Mephisto sandals. Not sold on the Air-Jet technology as there is no way I could walk a mile in these shoes.
3. If worn without a liner, I blister on my heels within minutes of wearing.
I had wanted to buy multiple colors but will be sticking to my single purchase.

Sadly returning
I really wanted the pretty blue suede loafers but they slipped off my heels, even with thick sox. And the arch supports weren't in line with my arches making the shoes uncomfortable. Very ill fitting 8.5 for Mephisto.
