Catiana Platform Sandal (Women)

I bought these sandals to wear on a trip to Europe where I would be walking a lot. They are so comfortable and I can wear them all day - but if my feet sweat at all (and it’s REALLY hot here!) - they turn my feet orange (like I used tanning lotion just on my feet!). The edges are starting to gray and they looks pretty worn out after only 3 weeks of wear. I was hoping for better quality from these sandals.

These just weren’t all that comfortable for me. I don’t like to “flip flop” in my sandals, I think the top is just shy of preventing them from flopping around. I wear a size 8.5/9 medium width and the 9 fit. I did not find the arch to be all that supportive. Made in China. Sadly these are getting returned.

I ordered these in the Navy, Black and Gold. They are very, very comfortable and a great design. The only thing I will say is my foot is a true Medium width, definitely not narrow, and these run wide. I ordered them in my regular size of 9 but seemed a tad short, so I re-ordered in 9 1/2. The length was better but really, really too wide. I can wear them but because they are leather I know from experience that they will stretch and soon will be floppy on my foot and hard to walk in without feeling like they will fall off. I really wish they would make them narrower. Also, the Blue and Black Suede are gorgeous, but the Gold is really SPARKLY GOLD. The picture representing the Gold is more of a Soft Muted Tan which is why I ordered them. I don't think the correct picture for this color is represented. Just know that you will be getting a Metallic Gold Shoe and not the one in the photo. I'm going to return the gold and re-order the size 9 in the Navy and Black, so they won't be so wide. I really love the style and comfort, just hoping they don't get too wide and sloppy after wearing a few times.

It took me a long time to receive these, but it was worth the wait. I almost always wear an 81/2, but my foot slid right through even though my forefoot leans toward the wide side. I sent them back, but the 8 was no longer available. I watched the website daily for a month and finally snagged what was probably a return. I adore everything about this classy style, especially the excellent arch support (a must for me) and the gorgeous whitewash finish. Interestingly, there is another listing for a Catiana Platform Sandal that is identical but in different finishes. The 8 1/2 in the metallic option fits me perfectly, but the beige suede was much too tight. I am thrilled to have found this brand and am hoping that their fall and winter styles are as good. Great-looking shoes with good arch support are rare.
