Vaya Wedge Sandal (Women)

A big disappointment, given I equate the brand with good quality leather shoes and all day comfort. This shoe does NOT fit that description. Poor quality leather, the straps are NOT secured to the entire base of the wedge--they are secured ONLY at the very bottom of the shoe, making the shoe somewhat unstable on your foot. The leather inside the foot-bed cuts off abruptly in a mess of raw, feathered leather at the base of my toes, which rubs against my foot with every step I take. Overall, disappointed with quality--returning the shoes.

I have worn many pairs of Sofft Sandals (I loved their Innis sandal before it changed to a 'wooden' wedge), mainly because they run narrow and I have a very narrow foot. I was excited to try these but was really, REALLY disappointed to find out the buckle is fake and Velcros instead of fastens. While it makes it a lot easier to get on and off, I am just not into a Velcro shoe so these are going back. If that does not bother you, then they are a lovely pair of sandals and comfortable like others in this brand.

I just cannot wear heels anymore, but wanted a sandal with a little height. I bought black for a cruise. They are soooo comfortable, look dressy and I loved them so much, I bought navy. I could walk all over the boat in them! I am now going to buy the brown. These shoes are not for the young girls, but for those of us who still want to be pretty, but also able to walk.
