Poor design
Very poor design, what happened to the mind of people designing this?
Please go back to the drawing table and try maybe a more retro style. Poor test!

great boots
I just ordered my 4th pair of these. I have been hiking the Appalachian Trail over the last few years, as well as some lesser trails. These shoes will take a real beating. They are very comfortable.

Nice hiking boots but
Mine were clearly used with dirty soles and a defect so I returned them. The only Rack product I have bought that came like that.

Not waterproof
These "waterproof" boots are anything but. I am a huge Merrell fan and have owned many pairs, great fit, including this pair, usually long lasting, but someone forgot the waterproofing on mine. I mean, they're not even a little water resistant.
