Island Block Heel Bootie (Women)

I purchased my regular boot size 9.5 and it fit perfect with space for my toes, so the boot is very comfortable and the leather is soft. The boot compliments my foot by appearing more fitted for a tailored look . It can be worn with a long dress since the shaft is about 6”. It looks good as a casual boot too with jeans. I like the zipper but I’m not sure why it doesn’t zip all the way to the top.

I’m 5 ‘7”, usually wear 9. Ordered 9, but too snug barefoot (which would feel weird for more than an hour and a couple hot spots would blister ; with tights still too snug. Recommend Ordering 1/2 size up. CONS: Holding the boot/ it looks great, until you put it in a brighter lite area. The material has a crinkle appearance and cheapens overall look. With boot on: The look is different, with zipper going partially up the back, the area not zipped tends to fall open and looks sloppy when paired with shorter pants/ skirts. LIKES: toe box has great shape. block heel has a great style looks current , but could still be in style in 5 yrs. bottom material under ball of foot is a great material- rubber texture. Adds cushion with walking/standing. OVERALL: for this price, will return- I can see getting one wear out of it, then pushing it to back of closet. Can find another boot, better fit on the shaft of boot. The gaping shoes sock- ugh.

I wanted these boots for so long and was hoping they’d go on sale. They never did so I bit the bullet and ordered them at full price. They’re okay, but not worth the price tag, in my opinion. I got the light brown (“Fox”) but the color isn’t as rich-looking as in the photos. They look a little cheap. They are very soft leather, which is nice. They run a little bit small to me. I’m a size 10 so I couldn’t go up a half size.
