XC4^® Tanner Plain Toe Derby (Men)

I love these XC4 Tanner plain toe shoes! I bought a pair in brown last year for my trip to Italy. They were very comfortable and held up to the demands of all-day touring and still looked great to wear out at night. As an added bonus, the waterproof feature was great to have while in Venice with the rising waters in and around St.Mark’s Square. So I bought the black XC4 Tanners this year to wear in Las Vegas…a city that involves lots of walking. As expected, the comfort was great for wearing all day and they looked formal enough to wear out each night with a smoking jacket or even my tuxedo for a special night on the town. These are my go-to shoes. I even have picked up a pair in blue to wear with jeans. I highly recommend!

By far, these are my “go to” shoes for work! As an aircraft pilot I am constantly walking long distances through airports and walking around outside of airplanes in all kinds of weather! These shoes are the most comfortable right out of the box when they are brand new! They feel really good when I am stepping on all kinds of pavement and are not too hot in the summer heat of Phoenix, Arizona, and keeps my feet warm during the cold winters in Aspen, Colorado! My only complaint is that they are not waterproof as they are labeled in the shoe/advertised. The pair that I have now are a replacement pair because my last pair, after about 10 months, were getting my socks wet when I stepped in minimal rain. If they could make these shoes actually waterproof then these would be 5-star shoes really worth the cost!
