Solimar Running Shoe (Men)

These shoes are very comfortable and supportive when new, however, after about 6 months of occasional wearing (usually 2 days/week walking around the neighborhood) the outsole began to peel apart. I contacted Hoka's warranty department and was told I could ship the shoes in at my cost for assessment, and if they determined the damage was from regular wear and tear I would have to pay to have them shipped back. I decided this wasn't worth the hassle so I continued to wear them. Within a few more months, the padding inside the shoe had completely smashed down and the shoes began to look and feel very tired. I am disappointed in the durability of these shoes and will not purchase Hoka again. ON and Nike hold up much better over similar usage.

I am a female who wears 11-11.5 in women's and it's difficult for me to wear women's running shoes because they always run small with my orthopedic inserts. These are amazing! I ordered the 11M and they fit great. They are narrow and the cushioning is perfect for me - soft with a little firmness. I've worm Hoka's before and they can have too much cushioning which irritates my back (not supportive enough). These aren't like that at all, which is great. Great arch support, snug fit. I will be ordering another pair. Highly recommend!
