Buckle Moc Toe Loafer (Women)

I absolutely love these loafers. They're so pretty, I love that the shoe is more narrow than many other chunky loafers, and the added height is great. But that buckle HURTS. Unfortunately, I didn't notice the buckle bothering me when I tried them on in-store. It wasn't until I wore them out for an evening and noticed how badly the buckles pushed into the tops of my feet, leaving red indents on both sides. I'm really hoping the leather will stretch a bit and the buckle won't be such an issue since I can't return them now because they really are beautiful shoes. But if I had noticed the buckle in store, I wouldn't have gone home with them. These ran true to size for me.

I’ve only worn them around the house, but so far so good. I would say they run about a half a size small and are a little tight around the instep, but they are surprisingly comfortable. Unlike what you would expect for the chunky size of the shoe (and I wear an 11) they are not heavy at all. Looking forward to wearing them as the weather turns colder.

These loafers are cute and more comfortable than I had expected. They are great for running errands around town, work, and dinner. I love them. The only reason I didn’t give them a 5-star is that they did take a couple wears to get broken into. I am generally a 36 or 36.5 depending on the brand and shoes. I got these loafers in 36 and there is room for thin socks.
