They will break while you're wearing them
I never hand wash things but I hand washed these before wearing them just to be extra careful and then the first time I wore them out they broke on me. In public. The sides came detached because these panties are glued together, not sewn, so a little body heat and tension is all it takes for them to- literally- come apart at the seams. I left mine in the waste basket at the first public bathroom I could find and went commando the rest of the day.
