Abide Loafer - Wide Width Available

I tend to buy an 8.5 or 9 (40 in Naot and Birkenstock), and a size 9 in this shoe fit me well. I have moderate bunions, and I like the way the shoe fit overall. It is one of those pairs of shoes that someone could wear a lot because it is soft, neutral, and comfortable. I returned them because the Chic Cream Leather was a little closer to white than ivory (although definitely off white), and the box toe in general is not flattering on me because I am petite (it sort of accents how short I am). If you are over 5 feet 7 or so, these could be a very nice staple. The quality and fit suggests it is more expensive than it is.

My usual size is 7. They are small and tight . Try to order w ír 7.5. returned.

Soft and a nice color, but the toe box is narrow.

I bought my typical size in the wide width - my feet are in between regular and wide, but I will often pick up a wide width for a bit more room in the toe box. Even in wide, these are tight and run more narrow, and compress my feet. I hate to think how narrow the regular width are. It's too bad because they really are cute and I was looking forward to wearing them, but I walk almost everywhere so the narrowness just won't work. They are leather so maybe they would stretch, but at this point in my life I don't want to suffer through a "break in" period for a maybe. I'm becoming more demanding in terms of quality & comfort of the products I purchase, so these are going back.

Even with wide width shoes was very tight across top of shoe.

I really liked these except they were too wide. I am normally a regular width. They are a beautiful shoe other than that. I wish they still had some available in narrow.
