Great shoe!
This shoe looks good and Mephisto paid good attention to detail in the shoe. The comfort and feel of the shoe is awesome. The size is true, taupe color is subdued and traction is good.

The most worthless shoe Mephisto ever made...
This shoe is totally worthless... and this is from a Mephisto customer for last 30 years or so... it has a very soft, and I mean soft, white sole that is like walking in your bare feet... you feel every little stone, pebble etc. They are unusable, absolutely no structure, and dangerous depending what you might step on... don't expect to be strolling around town, unless you enjoy some pain and believe in walking in your bare feet... expensive and worthless...

Years ago I bought a pair of Mephisto boating shoes and they were the best of any brand I have ever owned. But for some time I have been buying Sperry Gold Cup shoes. Yesterday I saw and bought the Mephisto Trevis boating or deck shoe and could not believe how much more comfortable they were than the Sperry shoes I had on when I came in the store. And the look is the same classic one I remembered, with beautiful quality of construction.

Great deck shoe. Very light and comfortable and the two tone look is great. I do wish that Mephito made more wide shoes. This is my 6th purchase and I just buy a size up.
