What it is: A nourishing balm cleanser that gently removes dirt, oil and makeup without disrupting the skin barrier.

What it does: This balm features TFC8®, a complex of natural amino acids, high-grade vitamins and synthesized molecules naturally found in skin that guides key nutrients and powerful ingredients to the skin cells, creating an optimal environment for the body's innate processes of repair and renewal. An avocado-olive fruit oil complex stimulates skin's natural defenses and helps minimize the effect of external aggressors to prevent signs of aging. Vitamin E, a natural antioxidant, acts as an anti-aging agent by blocking free-radicals and moisturizing skin. Squalane, a plant-based active ingredient from olive oil, limits loss of water.

How to use: Use your fingertips to massage the balm over dry skin. Add water to emulsify. Rinse well with warm water.

Fantastic balm- if you understand balms!

This is a wonderful cleansing balm with a smooth application, no scent, and a softening feel after you use it (not at all greasy). After reading other reviews, I think some users are not familiar with the purpose or consistently of a balm cleanser. They are meant to be thick and have a slick feel when applied. This cleanser is NOT at all like Vaseline- not even close. It glides on like a semi solid facial oil, emulsifies beautifully, and rinses off with no added residue. That’s what a balm cleanser should do. Balms are wonderful for dry skin (and some are even formulated for oily skin) and don’t leave that squeaky tight feeling after cleaning (hint- your face should never feel tight after cleansing). This cleanser is definitely one that I will repurchase- my only complaint is that it does need a spatula (don’t stick your fingers in it) and the Muslin cloth that it comes with is not great- too abrasive for me so I tossed it.

I love there rich cream, doing amazing skin care! But I don’t recommend this cleaning balm, it’s doesn’t doing anything, can’t even wash grease off my face, very disappointed!

Lovely Blam

I really love AB products. This balm feels so smooth and creamy. Does a great job of removing makeup. Love the texture and the scent. Unfortunately, it was a little too heavy. I use the AB rich cream too and I felt like both products together were a little too much. I returned and decided to stay with the AB cream cleansing gel, which I love. If you have overly dry skin I would recommend this product. For reference: I’m 45 y/o and have normal to dry skin.

Effective cleanser. Left feeling clean.

This is my first time using the balm. I use it at night to get the SPF 50 sunscreen I use daily. It's part of my ritual to rub this on my dry skin before I get into the shower. It effectively gets all the zinc from the sunscreen off my face, and I follow it with the AB gel cleanser to feel extra clean before applying my nighttime AB products. I'll continue to use this product with the only downside being the price. I have used other cleansing balms that are as effective and a lot cheaper... Over this is a great product though!

I love the using the

I love the using the Cleansing Balm when my skin is irritated. The Cleansing Balm gently cleanses my face without further irritation, and is not drying to the skin.
