Peyton Slide Sandal (Women)

I give this shoe a "true to width" rating, because the Naot Elegant line is cut for narrow to medium feet, and this shoe fits the bill. If your foot is on the wider side, it will likely be too narrow, and you should look at other lines in the brand. Like all Naots the quality of this shoe is fantastic. Good arch support, well-made, and attractive. The different finishes on the leather straps make it a versatile sandal. Unfortunately, I had to return. The strap that goes across the toes ended at an awkward place on my big toe, and each step made the strap dig in when my foot flexed. This aspect was uncomfortable, and I'm way past the point of breaking shoes in. It still gets 5-stars from me because this is an individual foot issue that is not reflective of the shoe. I ended up purchasing the Naot Blake, which has a front strap that sits a bit farther back. All feet are different, so give these a try! For reference, I typically wear a 7.5/38. In Naots, I wear a 39. I ordered a 39 and the length was perfect. The shoe runs small, but true to size for Naots, and again, this is from the Elegant line, which is made for narrow to medium feet. It runs narrow, but not for the line.

Naot sandals with the cork bottom have been my favorite shoes for walking painfree for many years. I usually buy the Ashley in various colors but when my sister wore these in Florida, I tried them on and had to get a pair. I like the arch support which keeps my feet from rolling inwards. A little tight to begin but think they will mold to my feet after I wear them around the house and wait for the snow to melt in Michigan.

I am a big fan of Naot sandels. I discovered them about ten years ago and have only buy that brand now. I am a 41 in Naot . I have a narrow foot so the elegant footbed seems to fit me the best. I found the Peyton to be too narrow and too short. I also thought the footbed to not be as comfortable as other Naot I have. I am returning these.
