Tarkiln Bootie (Women)

Well-made, cute, and very comfortable. I usually wear an 8.5 or 9, and chose the 9 to accommodate midweight socks. The toothed lining is plaid fabric; not sure how long that will hold up. The balance of the lining is leather. P.S. I came here after seeing these in a famous actor's catalog for $40 more plus a shipping charge. Another home run for Nordstrom and Born!

Purchased the Tarkiln bootie in 3 different colors (Black/Brown/Burgundy), and LOVE them! These are my new go-to Fall/Winter shoes :-) It has been nearly impossible for me to find a stylish, comfortable leather bootie that looks great dressed up or down, but is still soft and comfortable enough not to put me in agony after hours on my feet. These boots fill the bill! They look great with skinny jeans or leggings, and even a skirt with tights and a sweater. I am normally between a size 6.5 and 7, and purchased these in a size 7 . The fit was just right, with enough room for Winter socks :-)

I just received these boots in the mail. They fit well, the ankle is a little large but it doesn’t personally bother me. My only complaint is that I had ordered the grey color, but the boot itself is a brown. I’m not sure if this was a mistake, the box said ‘grey’, so I ordered another pair from a different retailer. I may just end up keeping these as well. It’s a beautiful boot to wear with jeans or leggings. The only reason I gave four stars is because of the color, but they are lovely. I’ll end up buying three more pairs!

I loved these booties from the moment I took them out of the box! Instant comfort, and the styling is so cute. The size was true to fit. They easy to get off and one with the side zipper and the slight openings on each size give so much comfort. I got the gray, which is more of a taupe-gray and I love them! Would like to get another color

I got these boots after searching for "Joanna Gaines boots" online because I absolutely LOVE her style. She always has some cute, cozy, comfy staples that she wears and I've been looking for some investment pieces for my wardrobe that were comfy and stylish. There were several boots that came up on the search, along with these ones. I settled on these after I read the reviews. People said, "comfy" and "true to size" and "my toes aren't squished", etc. SO! I took the plunge, ordered my usual size 9 and waited for them to be delivered. I tried them on and at first I was a bit concerned as they seemed a bit snug with a sock, so I got worried. I wore them around the house for a few hours and they completely formed to my feet! I have long toes, so I always have an issue with either my pinky toe being crumpled, or my big toe is shoved over to the opposite side creating a bunion-like position. Not in these! (It's almost as if BORN brand actually considers the fact that women have toes when making their shoes, LOL! Who would've thought? ^_^) I LOVE these shoes. They are adorable with ankle socks, some rolled up skinny jeans, and a cozy fall sweater... I can even see myself wearing them in the summer while hiking. They are comfy and feel durable and light.
