Future Skin Cushion Skincare Foundation

I really wanted to love this foundation, I love the very light texture and how it wears but this claims to be the most inclusive foundation, that may be true if you get the right undertone and use less or more to adjust but the more you build it up the darker it gets and if it's the wrong undertone that just gets more obvious. I have light to medium olive skin tone, so I have a sligh green tint to my skin and this is so hard to match but can get away with more neutral foundations but the color Nude comes out very warm, very peachy-orange against my coloring, even with just one layer, I have also tried Wheat, that one is just orange. I have tried using it on top of a very light layer of concealer and then one layer of this foundation on top and though I love the finish and the lightness of it but the undertone is just soo off that it's not usable. I hope there will be more colors. I was looking at Vanilla , it looks more neutral and maybe with some color correcting it will work but please, at least come out with more undertones.

This product is unbelievable. I am well beyond a senior citizen, but this product is so simple to apply, it not only gave me great coverage but is gave my skin such a natural glow. I will use this as my everyday makeup and for special occasions will build the coverage for a more dramatic face. Love the case it’s easy to hold while using. It made my aged dry skin look luminous.

I love this foundation. It covers well, doesn't settle in wrinkles, and looks so natural. I use it with the Future Skin Gel by placing a very small amount of the Future Skin Gel on my nose, forehead and chin. Then I use the sponge in the Future Skin Cushion to add and smooth over my face. I've had so many compliments about my smooth, flawless complexion. I've been told I look so much younger than my 73 years. I hope Chantecaille never discontinues either of the Future Skin Foundation formulas.

Product and packaging are both lightweight and a refill comes in as part of the purchase, making this product score all around -- aligned with the environment and aligned with a need to have portable makeup that can be retouched throughout the day given mask-wearing.

I originally got Vanilla, which was a bit too dark for me but keeping it for summer. Bought Alabaster and it is perfect right now. It gives the right amount of coverage(age spots) without feeling heavy, greasy or cakey. I have mature sensitive skin, this formula works perfectly for me,while it lets my skin breathe. I appreciate no scent as well! Nordstrom shipped so quickly both times, much appreciated!

The Nude color was a great match for my fair, cool undertones. Aura was a bit too light so I returned it. This is the only foundation I'm happy with, and it really does blur and smooth in a way no other natural, high-end foundation has. I prefer to use it with a very densely packed brush (kind of like a kabuki brush) instead of the included round applicator. A brush doesn't soak up as much of the product and is far easier to clean. They should skip the puff entirely. The compact itself would be smaller because the divider could be eliminated. I'd also love to see refills. It's environmentally crazy to throw away the entire compact after the refill is gone.
