What it is: A treatment that primes your hair for deeper repair while rebuilding hair bonds, strengthening and protecting.

Who it's for: All hair types.

What it does: Though this treatment can be used on its own, it is specifically designed to work as a two-part system with the brand's No. 3 Hair Perfector (sold separately) to help strengthen and repair damaged hair.

How to use: Apply to dry hair, fully saturating each section. Let it sit for 10 minutes. Do not rinse. If applicable, apply No. 3 Hair Perfector on top and let sit for an additional 10 minutes before shampooing and conditioning hair.

This stuff delivers!

This is the first Olaplex product that I’ve tried and wow am I impressed. I have fine, color-treated hair, and while I really wouldn’t consider my hair damaged, it definitely puts up with some wear and tear. My absolute best hair days are the ones when I’ve used this treatment. I leave the 0 on for about twice as long as suggested and then follow up with the 3 (a sample is included with the 0), which I leave on for about an hour. I can’t recommend this product enough. I loathe the feeling that many products leave in my fine hair, but this just leaves me with hair that looks and feels better than ever.

I use and like many Olaplex products (currently using #3, #4, #5, and #6), but this one made my head itch in an alarming fashion, and my skin and scalp are not particularly sensitive. I also didn’t feel it worked any better than #3 alone. As other reviewers have said, it’s strangely difficult to apply because of its watery consistency. For the first time I felt that Olaplex just wanted to sell me something new, not necessarily something good. Unfortunately, it’s not worth the money and the effort.

Love Love Love Olaplex 0

I use all Olaplex products and 0 and 3 work so well together. My hair is super soft after and feels so much healthier. I have fine hair that is dry from years of coloring. My hair stylist suggest Olaplex and I was using 3 alone before they came out with 0. It works so much better if you use 0 with the 3. I follow the direction and leave the 0 on for double time about 20 minutes and then leave the 3 on for about an hour and my hair feels amazing after a treatment. I try to do it at least once a week. I highly recommend this product.

not full bottles

I haven’t even tried this product yet, I just open this in the mail and was disappointed to see that the bottle isn’t even completely full. For how expensive this product is, and the amount you receive I would expect better.

Not bad

TIP: poor this in some sort of spray bottle. That will do what you need without wasting product. They really need to redo this packaging in the meantime. I used less after pouring it into a spray bottle than before... Smell isn’t bad.
