Oruga Slingback Sandal (Women)

I held my breath as I tried these Camper sandals on because I have fussy feet, ie high arch and high instep and bent toes, that too frequently don't do well in just any sandal. Like I can't wear flat-as-a-pancake flip flops. So I was elated that they fit perfectly. The crossed leather on the top of the foot is a great design to combat rubbing which often happens on my high bony instep. And it's a very flattering style on my somewhat wide feet (or I would think, any feet). I also like the cushion tab at the back of the ankle, which takes care of another potential irritant: straps rubbing the backs of my ankles raw. The only tiny negative is there isn't a lot of arch support but surprisingly (to me) it's enough, and with enough footbed cushion. That said, I wouldn't want to walk great distances in these. But that wasn't a requirement: I wanted a cute, low slip-on sandal to wear with casual crops or summer dresses--and not a lot of walking. Perfect. Boom.
