Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG Depuffing Eye Serum for Dark Circles

I decided to order this after reading it as being a ‘miracle for dark circles’. It boasts 5% caffeine which makes it good for brightening the undereye skin, and reducing any puffiness. This is a yellow tinted serum with an almost gel-like consistency which easily absorbs into the skin. I apply this morning and night, even on my eyelids, and always use this before I apply any other skincare products, so it gets the chance to seep right into my skin and work its magic. The dropper is really handy as it allows you to control the exact amount you want - I usually apply 2 drops and gently tap it under my eyes and blend outwards to soak into the skin. If I wear it during the day, I leave it around 5 minutes to set in, before moving on to moisturizer. Honestly, I didn’t see a difference right away, but after a few weeks I do see a slight improvement. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't sit well with makeup, and sometimes I feel it sitting under concealer, so I use it mostly on no makeup days when I can really let it sink into the skin. The texture is lightweight and absorbs fast, and it layers well under moisturizer and makeup. After using it consistently, I notice my under-eye area looks less puffy, especially in the mornings, and the appearance of dark circles looks more softened. It gives my eyes a more refreshed, awake look without feeling heavy or greasy. First, the texture is super lightweight and watery. It sinks in fast and layers well under makeup, which I love for mornings when my under-eyes need help ASAP. The main selling point is depuffing, and I will say, it does help with that. When my under-eyes are swollen or tired, this makes me look a little more awake within minutes. It’s not dramatic, but it’s noticeable. A tiny amount goes a long way. If you use too much, it can feel a little tacky or even slightly drying.
