not gonna do miracles but its great
I bought and tried a lot of shape wear: this was my favorite. I like how thin the bottom material is, it’s less restricting and more comfortable. It smooths and shapes nicely but not too tight so you can t eat or breathe. I see myself using this a lot! Love it.

Bring back the old version!
The 2.0 version is awful. It’s uncomfortable and fits weird. The waistband digs into my stomach and is very unflattering.

Old version way better
The old version was so much better. The seams on the back of the 2.0 are lumpy -especially around the waist band near the tag, where as the old one was truly seamless. The older version had a seamless waist band too, this one is very noticeable. This looks like shape wear from Walmt. Why would Spanx change something that wasn't broken? Will probably return and try another brand.

Tore first time wearing it
The material is VERY thin and it tore the first time I wore it. It holds you in well but not worth it since the material is so thin and fragile it kind of defeats the purpose.

AWFUL SHEER PROBLEM SHORTS
These were absolutely awful. The material is so sheer it actually adds problems rather than help out smooth your areas of concern. The top of the shorts sit to where they roll in the back, create a bulge in the front AND a bulge in the back (ew hello back boobs). The fit was true to size, as the legs were fine except for being super long. I cant wear these with an “above the knee” dress as they show. What a miss- such a disappointment.

This Body Shaper Does Its Job Well
About 4-5 years ago I brought an earlier version of Thinstincts. I liked the earlier version a lot, but this version is MUCH better. The leg length is longer and doesn't roll up; the tummy control is a bit stronger but not restrictive and the waist stays put. If you are straight waisted or are a bit "fluffy" through the middle, you may not like how this shaper fits you. It fits snug on the waist and it could cause muffin top. Most of my "fluff" is in the hips and little in the tummy. I'm very pleased with this shaper so far.
