Mini Glitter Follies Strass Pump (Women)

Oh Christian Louboutin…I love you and I hate you (actually, my feet hate you). These shoes are stunning. Truly, these are the most beautiful shoes I own — and I own a lot of shoes. They sparkle just enough, grab the attention of every one, and have a Cinderella sparkle without looking like Disney. This style has a few different color/finish options for the back of the shoe and heel (silver, bright gold, shiny white, etc). The ones here have the champagne finish and it is by far the most beautiful and versatile. Muted but elegant. As someone with a wider foot, the mesh body makes it easier to fit into the shoe. However, 10 minutes into these beauties and my feet feel like they’re going to fall off. This is the case with all of my Louboutins but especially these ones. Maybe it’s because there isn’t a lot of support with the mesh body. Maybe it’s just a Louboutin thing. I wore these to a wedding and another guest told me that she loved these shoes but didn’t purchase them because of how uncomfortable they were when trying on in store. So, I know I’m not the only one. For me, the beauty is worth the pain so before I wear them, I make sure that I will be sitting for most of the night. Sad, but what can you do when you like what you like? I always size up by one shoe size with Louboutin and this was no exception.

I bought these from Louboutin directly because they are absolutely beautiful, on the website and even more so in person. I spent $100 to have the bottoms covered and couldn't wait to wear them. Wore them to church for Resurrection Sunday and was on a carpeted floor the entire time. Within an hour of wearing them, the toe crystals had already fallen off. I planned on getting the matching pair for my baby girl but absolutely will not be doing so. If the crystals (strass) can fall off with me wearing them, I can only imagine what would happen with her wearing some. Really sad on how these are made, or at least how mine were.

These red bottoms are to die for! I bought them as a birthday present to myself and they do not disappoint! The crystals are sewn onto the shoe and the mesh material of the shoe feels very comfortable. Additionally, the back of the shoe has this gorgeous gold/champagne sheen to them. If you are on the fence about buying them, just do it! You won't regret it!
