Seeking Silence Facial Hydrator

My face is going through a VERY SENSITIVE period so it’s hyper sensitive right now. Typically I have normal to dry , sensitive skin, with very seldom breakouts and when I do 99% of them time it’s product related. I didn’t find this product to be calming in any way. I could smell the fragrance right away and that’s not good for sensitive skin and this is marketed for sensitive skin. It has quite a few Essential oils and a majority of research has proven essential oils are not good for sensitive skin as they can irritate and cause inflammation. I should have read the ingredient list better. I returned this. I don’t know why companies can’t just make good products sans fragrance and essential oils. The search continues!

I have combination, sensitive and ref skin. This moisturizer doesn’t irritate my skin, moisturizes and isn’t too thick or oily. The only down side, is that it’s SO small for the price.

I do not like the texture and find it greasy on my dace

Light non-occlusive texture that feels very calming, I sometimes layer it with other moisturisers if I need extra protection from dehydration.

Bought this Aesop seeking silence moisturiser for my partner, who has oily yet sensitive skin and often reacts to other creams. This one is really calming, helps reduce redness, and seems to rebalance his skin without causing any irritation. A great find!

The texture is perfect if you’re looking for a light weight moisturiser with a gel texture. It’s better suited to warmer months when you need something a bit thinner on your skin. The smell is fresh and therapeutic too. My fiancé stole this from me and it’s his full time moisturiser. I knocked off a star because I think it’s pricey for effectively only providing moisture without any other benefits.
