Dianna Non-Iron Cotton Shirt

The blouse is a good value, good quality and nicely sewn. The chambray pink is a very pretty color. The problem is that it is fitted. Per the description I assumed that the style was like BrooksBrothers classic fit for women - meaning no darts front or back. However this blouse is fitted front and back. It fit perfectly in shoulders, sleeve length and body length. However it was tight across the bust and stomach - because of the darts. I purchased a size 10 according to the size guide - which invariably was wrong. I am 68, 5'4", 145lbs , 36C cup, average post menopausal shape: not skinny but not fat. A size 12 would have been too big in the shoulders. If this style was unfitted, the size 10 would have been perfect for me. I returned the blouse because it did not fit as it should have.

Foxcroft has really done it with this shirt! Finally a shirt which buttons high enough so my cleavage does not show. Perfectly fitted. Beautiful material as usual. Thank you Foxcroft. I’ve waited years for this shirt. Have so many where I’m just not that comfortable due to low first top button! AND this even has an extra button at the neck! They’re hot. Get them while you can.

UNFORTUNATELY, I RETURNED MY BLOUSE. I have worn Foxcroft blouses for many years. However, the inferior product that was sent was not typical of Foxcroft. The width of the blouses has changed; SIZE 4 no longer fits like a SIZE 4. Instead it has widened and would be a good fit for someone after they had just had a baby. Or has 8-10 lbs to lose around their middle. A SIZE 4, as it used to be, was roomy through the mid drift and comfortable, but still showed waist definition. Foxcroft no longer has a blouse that fits me – that doesn't make me look like a farmer. One could be 7 months pregnant and wear the shirt that I returned. The fabric has gone downhill as well. It is no longer the same fine grade of cotton. I am very disappointed . I weigh 112 lbs and am 5'4" tall with a dancer body.
