Maryana Pointed Toe Boot (Women)

I am so, so, so delighted with my brand new Schutz tall boots in embossed snakeskin that words cannot describe my exhilaration! I do not have particularly wide calves, but I am quite athletic, so my calves are not skinny minnie. Being that my calves measure under 14 inches around, I still find that high-end designer tall boots still fit very tightly to almost impossible to zip up at the calf area. These boots are sublime; they run true to size with the shoe length and the shaft fit amazingly all around my lower leg! They are not too wide with some room at the top of my knee area and just enough room in the calf area so that the boots do not slip down or slouch too much. They do not have that strange heel gap like a sock boot with well-designed ankle and counter areas to support the foot. As if these features are not enough, this boot combines the two most beloved features I look for in any footwear: a pointy-toe and stiletto spike heel! They are wonderfully comfortable to walk in and even without a platform, these boots are a dream to strut your stuff in without the discomfort. The leather quality is beautiful and so supple. Schutz did not cheapen this boot with its leather lining and signature leather sole. The snakeskin pattern is spot-on as well with the design not too symmetrical as to emulate the real variances in genuine snakeskin leathers. I adore this boot and am so happy to have found it at Nordstrom!

I really wanted to love these - this is my second pair of Schutz boots and I ADORE my first. They came out of the box and looked stunning, green color is amazing. I put them on for work at 9am - walked to the office - and by 6pm on my walk home they already completely broke. Heel totally fell out and almost snapped my ankle several times hobbling home. They didn’t even last ONE day. Very very disappointing given the price point. Expected better quality from schutz.
