Caren 01 Sneaker (Women)

I usually buy Ecco sneakers, but really liked the shape and description of this one, and know it to be a good make, as well. Based on other reviews, I ordered up to a size 42 because I usually wear a size 10. The packaging is confusing, as it sales "male" on the box, and because it was so large, I assumed I got a men's sneaker instead of a women's. I returned it and got the next two sizes down, settling on the size 41, which seemed just right. I like that it has a wider cut, and no pointed or almond toe to give the toes adequate room. I like that it is low cut, and has a padded edge, as no matter how low cut these sneakers generally are, I usually find them digging into my ankles. I also liked the padded insole with metatarsal support, but I preferred to put in my own. Since theirs was removable, this worked great. The only fault I found with it so far is that it doesn't have much arch support, so my foot falls lower on the arch side. But, I added an arch support, and all should be good now. The leather isn't quite as soft as most of my Eccos, but I think it will work out. The finish of the leather may keep the white shoes cleaner. I'm looking forward to using them when the weather gets warmer, although I would still prefer Ecco for my finicky feet.

These are my all time favorite, go to shoe. I have purchased the Grigio color three times over the last ten years; I love it and it goes with everything and I wear it almost every day. However, I do have this same shoe in navy and black from years past. They are comfortable from the moment you put them on, no break in period. They last forever and always look stylish; have a nice clean line to them. You cannot go wrong with these. I wear a 7.5 and the 38 has always fit perfectly.

I love my Joseph Siebel sneakers. I have had three silver pairs in the past 6 years. This year I was so sad JS sneakers weren’t included in the anniversary sale, but these were price matched reduced, so I picked them up. I got the grey because they are versatile and go with shorts, jeans, casual dresses. I love them. I’m generally a size 10, but have to go to the largest size (42) in these.
