Great for smaller calves
I wanted to come on here and counter the other low-star reviews - as someone who tried multiple pairs of knee high boots from various brands and found them too big in the calves, these boots fit amazing. I tried these on in-store and bought them on the spot. I'm about 5'7, have 13" calves, and my shoe size is between 7-7.5 (I have narrower feet), and found the 7 to be perfect. I got these in black nappa leather and the leather is so high quality and soft. I have no problem taking them on or off despite them having no zipper, and the back of the leg is slightly stretchy too. I highly recommend these if you have trouble finding knee high boots that you aren't swimming in.

very narrow ankle
I bought these in my usual size 8 and could not get my heel to pass through. I ordered a half size larger and after a tremendous struggle got my foot in. These fit beautifully through the calf (I often find boot shafts to be too generous) but they were too long in the toe and way too much work to get on. I’ve taken both pairs back.

Add a zipper!
These are absolutely gorgeous shoes. The leather is beautiful. Unfortunately, there is no side zipper where the shaft meets the foot. Anyone with a high arch will not be able to get them on. I got the right boot on with considerable effort and it was gorgeous had to return, as I was unable to get my left foot in

Gorgeous boots
These boots are simply stunning, and comfortable! The leather is buttery soft. They are very fitted, but the slightly chunky sole gives them more of a riding boot look. Also love that the calf is leather vs stretch fabric. Received compliments from 2 people as I was trying on in store. Well worth the price!
