What it is: A weightless microglitter eyeshadow infused with light-reflecting pearls to create high-impact, sparkling eyes.

What it does: Multifaceted pearls capture and reflect light for brilliant, multidimensional eyes. The light-catching shades are buildable from a sheer, crystal-like shimmer to an opaque prismatic glitter finish. The weightless formula glides across your lids and dries down for smooth, comfortable wear.

How to use: Using your fingertips, apply glitter eyeshadow over your eyelid. Layer the formula to build intensity. Replace the clear disc before recapping the lid.

GORGEOUS DAY TO EVENING PERFECTION!

This review is for the new Nordstrom Exclusive Hourglass Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadow. I purchased Burnished, a warm brown coppery shade that is perfect for the office and into the evening. I also purchased Vivid, a warm olive green with gold shimmer, just perfect for hazel eyes, and anyone who loves to sport a sophisticated smoky green eye with a single swipe of your finger across the lid. I also purchased Rapture. This shade is a true warm based rosy copper that enhances all eye colors with gold and magenta sparkle. The formula is buttery smooth and all you need is a touch of product that covers the whole eye lid. You can anchor the shades with black eyeliner for evening. Great addition to the already acclaimed Hourglass eyeshadow shades. More shades please!

Not for me

I bought this in the “Vivid” shade. I loved it, but after using it for 2 days, my eyelids started itching. The next 4 days were miserable with swollen itchy eyelids. This has never happened to me before with any make up product.

great daily use eye product

This product is amazing, just like all hourglass products I have used. It can be used alone for a simple eye, layered as a base or top with other shadows or built upon itself. It’s stays in place and does not accentuate the wrinkles of your eyelids for those of us not in our twenties.

Green eyes... make my dream come true.

If you are looking to put a little sparkle in your holiday season I recommend HOURGLASS Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadow. You can put as much or as little on as you feel comfortable. It's fun. It's festive. It's that added little "pop" that makes you feel special during the holiday season. I bought Vivid - Olive. It really made my hazel eyes turn green. Love it!
