501^® Curve High Waist Straight Leg Jeans

Love these jeans! Was introduced to them by the sales associate helping me in the fitting room. I was trying another pair of anniversary sale 501s and they didn’t have my size so she brought me these to try and they were great, fit very well. Usually I wear 26 or 27 in jeans, but Levi’s tend to have little to no stretch, especially 501, so got a 28. Also the 30 length fits me perfectly (5’1”) so no need to get them hemmed. Not anniversary sale but worth the extra $ in my opinion.

Love the jeans This item went on sale on the Levi’s site nearly 4 days after I purchased it but could not request a price adjustment on the site after my size was sold out. Im not sure why my size being sold out impacts my ability to request a price adjustment. I then noticed 2 weeks later it’s on sale at Nordstrom and when I reached out to customer service I was told I was just over the window to submit the request. Overall not satisfied with Nordstrom’s customer service if this is what I can expect.

I normally wear anything from a 29 in really stretchy jeans (buckle, flying monkey, etc) to a 32 in brands like AG tend to run smaller. I have larger hips and booty naturally. I originally purchased the ribcage version of levis which fit the hips/thighs but there was a major gap at the waist, so I tried these in my more typical size 31 and while i could technically button them, they were pretty tight with very little stretch. I did appreciate that these were still cute even though they were a bit snug. I'm ordering the 32 and crossing my fingers that they work.

I finally found a pair of good denim that fits a bigger booty and smaller waist which has been so difficult. The 32 inseam is a perfect length for my longer legs, they sit just below the ankle. The crotch area is a little bit baggy but that could also just be my body but they’re so comfy in general. I always found Levi’s a bit difficult to fit me and I was always so obsessed with trying to make them fit but this pair is amazing. Not a massive fan of a button fly so I hope they change to a zipper but regardless, I hope more colours become available so I can buy them all.

When I tried on these jeans, I was momentarily dazzled by the fact the waist and bum fit, so I bought two pairs. When I got home, I experienced a bit of regret. The material is great. Classic Levi's denim. The fit in the seat and thighs is great but... the crotch is HUGE. The new curve fit seems like a blessing to all us girls with an Itty bitty waist and a round thing in your face, but they are so wide in the crotch area, it looks like I'm wearing a diaper from the front. They're fine I guess, but I definitely regret buying two pairs. The fit just doesn't make sense. Like, why make the crotch so wide? Especially for people whose thighs touch? In order for these to fit perfectly, I'd have to be every bit as curvaceous as I am now, but also have a massive thigh gap and an oversized punani. It makes no sense. Save your money, buy the regular 501s and get the waist tailored. These are just not worth it.
