laces are not long enough
my son likes these shoes, but the laces are just not long enough. They are so hard to tie since there isn't much length to work with.

Runs small
Bought a size 5 for my son to grow into (currently wears 4.5), but it was way too small. His toes were jammed into the front of the shoe. Also bought a different style of dress shoe from Florsheim in a size 5 and he still had a lot of room to grow into that pair.

On the fence, nice shoe, soft leather .
This is a nice shoe, I'm of the elk that this shoe is not made for little boys. I order shoes for my grands age 3 and 5. The leather is soft and marks easily. Scratches and scuff marks after the first day. Also, water stains from rain. I will take shoes to cobbler to see if they can coat.

Versatile boys’ shoe
Perfect dress shoe. I purchased these in a 3 for my 8 year old. They run true to size. My son said they are very comfortable. I was happy to see a lovely rubber sole that didn’t appear to be rubber. They are dressy enough to wear with slacks and casual enough to wear with khakis. A big win purchase.
