Better than I expected
I just tried these on expecting them to be way too tight, too see through, too all kinds of things. I'm just not usually a fan of tights, but I needed this pair to wear with a certain dress. Out of the package, I thought omg, I'm never going to be able to get these over my knees, let alone over my behind, but turns out they are very stretchy and not only was it fine, the snugness made the fit more flattering and gave good control.
The fabric feels nice and velvety, not scratchy and it doesn't seem like it's going to snag too easily.
No, they're not 100% opaque, maybe like 85% opaque, but without actually wearing a pair of LEGGINGS, it would be hard to find a pair of tights that you can't at least see a little through at the knees. Opaque tights are not, by definition, guaranteed to never show through at all.
Which brings me to my last point... the reviews on this item and on the rest of the tights in this department alarm me a bit. People need to learn the difference between tights and leggings- they are not synonymous. I would never dream of wearing these tights with just a top- they are cousins of pantyhose, not pants. Leggings are actual stretch pants that you can't see through (hopefully) no matter what the size. Tights are just thick pantyhose and require some modesty and adequate coverage of the bottom.
So pay attention to the title and description of the items and order and write reviews accordingly. To give this item a bad review because you thought you could wear tights with just a shirt isn't fair. If that's how you feel, you ordered the wrong item and you're really looking for LEGGINGS.

Footless and Comfortable
These tights have a high, comfortable waist as the description claims. I like the weight of these tights. They're not thick, but they are substantial enough to wear without fear of tearing. If you are thinking about these tights, be sure that's what you are looking for because they are not as thick as leggings. These cannot be worn on their own as pants. If you are sure you are looking for a footless tight, these are very nice.

Great, but they roll up a little bit
I love these tights. They aren't the darkest I've tried, but they are close. I bought them to wear with knee high boots when I want to wear socks and don't want extra fabric in the foot area.
My only complaint is the bottom bunches up a bit so I have to re adjust. I assume this is a factor of my height (5'0") so if you're taller I wouldn't worry about it.
Lastly, LEGGINGS ARE NOT PANTS. AND TIGHTS ARE DEFINITELY NOT PANTS. Please do not wear these without covering you're behind.

Commando Footless Tights.
These tights deserve a Five Star rating. These are so stretchy and comfy I never want to take them off. I can wear them everywhere as they are opaque as most of the leggings I own.

simply the most comfortable tights EVER
I wear a lot of tights and leggings. I love skirts and dresses. These are amazing. They truly do not dig. I will be buying more when the weather changes so all my tights are COMMANDO! That said these are not leggings. They are tights. You could see my leopard undies quite clearly thru them. It would be great if COMMANDO would make actual leggings too. *Hint hint Also they add a bit a smoothing which is always a bonus

These run slightly small, super tight!
I ordered the black size small tights...and man, were they tight. I am 5'6' and 120lbs. I can say that I like these, once you take 15 minutes to get them on. I could have gone up a size. They look great and keep everything sucked in once you get them on, just takes a bit to squeeze into them. Otherwise, very flattering and nice.
