Paulie Waterproof Lace-Up Bootie (Women)

I am delighted with this purchase. These boots are stylish and eye-catching without being ostentatious. They go with everything. They are roomy enough to wear with thick wool socks, and the soft fleece lining is cozy and comfortable. The double zippers make them easy to get on and off and the fact they are water proof makes them perfect for our cold rainy winter. Deep rubber treads make them stable and safe in weather. I want to wear them every day! Worth every penny.

I usually order 1/2 size up to allow for socks, but didn’t need to with these cuties. The (somewhat) shiny texture put me off at first, until I realized these have fleece lining!!!! Even the tougue is lined! And the side zippers make them super easy to put on and remove. Cute, comfy, and warm!

The cappuccino patent is a really special finish. I LOVE it. I’d been looking for a warm, rosy, creamy tan boot and everything I tried was too blush, too pink, or too mauve. This cappuccino patent leather is perfect, a creamy pale brown that is not at all yellow but also not particularly pink. The slightly crinkly patent leather and wide black laces are nice details. The boots are warm, comfortable, and super good-looking. This would be a 5-star boot if the sizing were more accurate. The 39 is a bit big on me. I generally wear 39 (8.5). But, snugging up the laces makes a huge difference.

This boot is adorable. The thick laces look almost like ribbon. The patent leather is so shiny and fun, I got the blue color. They are slightly insulated, which feels cozy. The sole is very sturdy and grippy. There are two zippers on each boot-- which was a surprise. There is a more decorative silver buckle on the outside of the foot, and a lower profile nylon zipper on the inside. I was looking for a boot which was warm and also easy to take off/on and the zippers definitely provide that. It's sort of a lot going on with the laces and the two zippers, but I still really like the boots.
