Sensible and Stylish.
When I first saw these shoes online I fell in love with the style. I was not crazy about the shiny part of the leather. Once they were delivered and I opened the box, I was very happy with the color. It is not as shiny as it appears in the website photos. I cannot get over how comfortable they are. It felt a tiny bit tight on the first three wears. After that, it’s as if I have a “glove” on my feet, perfect fit. So comfortable! When I first took them to “Sole Saver” , our local shoe repair shop, for a shine, he said it’s one of the most well-made shoe he’s worked on. He was admiring the craftsmanship. I am definitely purchasing another Angela Scott loafer.

Stiff Shoes
This make is the stiffest pair of shoes for the price! I usually buy my shoes when we summer in Europe. These are the best-looking pair of oxfords---I only wear oxfords. They are outstanding looking; the whole line is good-looking, especially the black and white. They resemble cardboard; I have NEVER bought such a stiff pair of shoes: I don't even want to "break them in. Both pairs went back; the clerk, who waits on me, commented upon the stiffness!

Cute, but narrow
Love the look but they are very narrow and super stiff. Length is true to size though so sizing up isn’t necessarily the answer. Taking a while to break in for sure. Hoping they will be amazing once they do since they are pricey.

Made for Narrow feet
These shoes are absolutely beautiful, but NOT a wide shoe. These shoes are made for narrow feet. I will not just have them to sit in my closet, so sadly, I will be returning them.

Beautiful, but order next size up
These shoes are gorgeous. I got them in the ocean, which is a subtle teal black stripe. But, they do run small. I normally take an 8 1/2 in shoes, and ordered that. My foot runs toward narrow, but the shoe was still snug in the toes and across the top of my foot. I’m sending them back for the next size up.

Great shoe, tons of compliments
This is an understated shoe with a bit of a kick to it. You can't even tell it's striped in low light, it's so subtle. I bought 2 pairs of Angels Scott's this one, size 39.5 and the Mr. Owens Oxford in size 40 (it's a narrower shoe). While they are definitely very well made comfortable shoes, they are very stiff. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that they scuff rather easily.
