excellent for all and especially for mature skin

I’m a working mom and saw a YouTuber recommend this product- she raves about it actually. My daughter uses Laura mercier powder but it makes my under eyes look so dry and also crease so much it looks like I have dee set wrinkles when I have no wrinkles. So that was a no for me and I just didn’t wear any powder at all thinking it was just the same for all. The downfall though is transfer to clothing especially during color months when necklines are higher. Which leads me to my YouTube review search. I watched a video (Abby bliss white) and she raves about this powder and had the same issue with the LM brand so is I figured I’d give it a try. I am so glad I did. I LOVE this powder! It’s so finely milled and just finished your makeup so nicely. Blurs things together and sets to prevent transfer as well. No dry or wrinkles under eyes! I did also purchase the coordinating dual end brush and love it as well. I highly recommend this powder for all ages and especially those who are a little older (I’m 44) and don’t want their products to give them wrinkles :)

Kind of a rip off

This product is very pricey for what you get… a big fat plastic container and a tiny amount of setting powder, which is also difficult to get out of the container I bought it because I can no longer get MAC setting powder which is half the price and twice as much setting powder.

Lovely powder

I am about to turn 41 and was researching powders for more "mature" skin. This kept coming up on every list, so I ordered the travel size to give it a try. I LOVE it! Prior to this, I was using a Dior powder, but I felt like it would settle into some of my lines and feel a little heavy on my skin. I don't like to wear much makeup. I just put on some tinted SPF and then dust this over the top, and it gives your skin a wonderful glow without feeling heavy!

Hourglass translucent powder

I keep coming back to Hourglass.. I have tried two other setting powders with lackluster results. Both brands crease under eyes and still have a somewhat chalky finish. I am a woman over sixty five so that may be why I find this powder not as drying.

my daily setting powder

I purchased the Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder after seeing consistently strong reviews and because I’ve always loved Hourglass products. I bought it as a set with the Veil Powder Brush, and the combination completely changed how I apply setting powder. The powder itself is incredibly fine‑milled and gives a beautiful airbrushed finish without looking overly matte or dry. It blurs and sets makeup while still keeping the skin looking dimensional and natural. My makeup genuinely lasts all day when I use this. The packaging feels luxurious, application is effortless, and performance is unmatched. I’ve tried many setting powders over the years, and none compare. I loved it so much I also bought the mini so I never have to go without it when traveling.
