What it is: A green, fresh scent presented in an elegant bottle.

Fragrance story: True to its name, Original Vetiver dramatically reinvents the traditional vetiver scent. Before Original Vetiver, only one part of the vetiver plant was used in a fragrance. The House of Creed infuses all three parts of the plant—the earthy root, the verdant leaves and the rich heart—to freshen the blend. The result is a scent reminiscent of lingering summers, invigorating and vivacious. It leaves an alluring air of freshness around any lucky enough to wear it.

Style: Green, fresh.

Notes:
- Top: bergamot, bitter orange, mandarin, vetiver leaves.
- Middle: white pepper, coriander, pink berries.
- Base: Mysore sandalwood, vetiver, ambergris, Tonkin musk.

Same as Diptyque "Fleur de peau"

The first scent is very masculine. It was so strong that it made me dizzy. After 3 hours, I can smell this base note. This base note is the same as diptyque "Fleur de Peau"!!! I purchased 500 dollars! But this scent is not special! It's a waste money!

Smells so good

I love this fragrance by the House of Creed, its fresh, crisp and clean. I have gotten so many compliments from this fragrance. I find myself advertising this fragrance to family and co workers and people that I meet. It's one of my favorites from Creed.

Wonderful fragrance

Creed Vetiver Original was released in 2004. Diptyque Fleur De Peau was released in 2018. So if you compare them then obviously Diptyque copied Creed. I have been wearing Vetiver Original for years and always get compliments, usually I get the comment that it smells fresh and clean. Just need to control how much you use. A little goes a long way.

Delina clone

I want to love this!! But…It is so similar to delina I have a hard time being unbiased because I cannot stand how over sprayed that perfume is. This is greener and brighter but close enough to make me think twice about buying a scent that mimics what every influencer in LA is suffocating rooms with… very different from og Vetiver. The price point and obv delina dna makes this a no for me.
