Perfect Summer Shoe
Love love LOVE this shoe! I was in the market for a new pair of birks - my 4-year old pair is still going strong, but I wanted a new look). The Florida style is one I've been eyeing for awhile, but I didn't love the classic leather look of the straps on the pairs I'd been seeing (looked a bit too much like mom shoes for me). The worn leather option gives them a more styled/intentional look, and as a bonus the straps are so soft right from the box.
As with every other pair of birkenstocks I've tried on, it's an extremely comfortable shoe. I also think the 3-strap style of the Florida is a nice twist on the classic 2-strap birkenstock and very easy to style for the summer. Would 100% recommend for anyone looking to add some birkenstocks to their collection.

I bought these specific shoes for two different reasons. First, I wanted leather not birko flor and two I wanted something besides the Arizona. I am not sure if I am going to keep them. The buckle is on top of your foot, not on the side like the Arizona. It fits fine, just looks a little weird. I understand that the oiled leather will have variations on the color, but this shoe came with one really dark stain on the outside of the shoe. I am concerned about how the leather will change as they age. The color of the leather is much lighter than reflected in the picture

I have been wearing a size 39 in this shoes for over 20 years. First, the color in the picture is off: the leather is a taupe-gray. The width of the sole at the front is much wider. I was unable to adjust the straps to fit. Returning.

Wish it would be the narrow width
I love Birkenstock and own many pairs. Florida is one of my favorite styles. But, I only purchase narrow which is really a regular width. The regular width that this comes in is wide, which makes my foot look big. Wish they made this leather sandal in narrow.

Comfortable - forever shoe!
A very comfortable sandal. The foot bed feels good on my foot. The arch support is wonderful for my foot/arch pain. I love that these are actually leather uppers (unlike a lot of Birkenstocks!). I just know these will become more and more comfortable. I conditioned the straps with oil, so that it would feel smooth and soft. Love the 3 adjustable straps - for a perfect fit!
The leather does not look like the picture, when you unbox the shoe......but I imagine it will "weather" just like the pic!
