5-Stripe Zip Hoodie

For such a pricey article of casual clothing the materials and construction are very poor quality. My hoodie pretty much fell apart and was unsightly after just a few months. I loved the styling but the price is way overinflated for what you get.

Unfortunately, AN quality has tanked. We’re essentially paying for the rent for their retail stores, which are located in extremely high priced areas (specifically right on PCH and in Venice). So I get it – you have to make a lot of money to stay in business in those locations but the quality of their clothes has really started to suffer. This hoodie feels like it was made by Hanes or fruit of the loom- not trying to hate on either of those brands, but they are known to be cheaper products. The stitching was also very sloppy (see pictures). Also, the zipper felt very flimsy and did not zip smoothly. I have other aviator nation hoodies that have substantial zippers that go up and down in one smooth motion. It just seems like they have started to cut corners in all areas of the brand. For $200 I expect for a hoodie to at least look like it was stitched together properly and that it went through some sort of quality control measures. Unfortunately, this one did not meet my expectations at all.

Wore it ONCE. Pocket ripped, back of hoodie pilled. Poorly made, super thin and feels flimsy. I honestly do not understand the high reviews for this item. Thankfully Nordstrom has a great return policy b/c it’s going back. Junk!

This is a terrible hoodie with awful construction. I’m shocked at how poorly it is made for the price! I think reviews are fake! Horrible pulling everywhere. Uneven stitching. Handmade? By who? Flimsy too. Just wow

The wife has been eyeing this for a while and I gifted it to her for Xmas. After only 2 days, she noticed the pocket had already ripped open. Going to return and try again.
