Fave shorts
These are the perfect shorts for women like me who have avoided shorts for years. They’re short enough to not look dowdy but long enough to cover fluffy upper thighs. The wash is great. They do run true to size though - I had sized up thinking I wanted them to be a bit loose but the 8 was too big so I returned for a 6. 5’4”, 145 lbs for reference and I usually wear a size 27/28 in jeans.

I had high hopes that the size 8 would have fit me since this is my 5th pair of jeans/shorts from KUT. The rise in these shorts did not flatter my waistline and ran small. Will be returning.

Great fit, but too short.
Bought these in my usual Kut size, but the inseam was about 1/2 inch shorter than described and at least a full inch shorter than what my aging inner thighs need. Otherwise, they fit great. Sadly, will be returning. If you’ve never bought Kut jeans and are between sizes, size down.

They fit very well. I’m 5’2”, ~ 110 lbs, petite build and ordered a size 2. Love the length. It’s not too long but long enough they don’t ride up when I bend down which is great with little kids. The dark wash is great for dressy up or down.

Check spandex content in each color - different
Love this style of short overall but this color and fabric combo did not work for me. I own two other pairs of these and the fabric content differs on each and thus the comfort level changes. This one was the stiffest with 99% cotton and only 1% spandex. The white are perfect with 2% spandex. The other color I have is a blend + spandex and those are very comfy. These just felt tight and I was worried about tightness in the heat. Keeping the others but if you are picky like me (ha) please know they all fit a tiny bit differently.

So comfortable! Hits right at my belly button. Gives my mama pouch Some supposed. Length is perfect, not too long not too short. I wanted to get a pair for the summer that allowed me to bend, squat, twist while keeping everything in place. I'm 35, 5'4, 155lbs and I purchased a 10. Perfect for me, a mama w two littles. Dress it up, dress it down. Perfect for all of my summer activities.
