The best
I have tried so many faces washes and this one is the hands-down winner for my oily skin. It's wonderfully thick -- a little dab'll do you -- and produces a satisfying lather (handy if you're on the road and want it to double as shaving cream). Leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed without stripping it. I'm not wild about the scent -- definitely toothpaste-esque -- but it's grown on me since I now associate it with fabulous face washing.

I used this product for a couple weeks and it was great! Loved the smell and it made my skin feel good. I used the product again 2 days ago and started to have a reaction around my T zone, I've never had that happen before. I was only using this product so I know it was a result of the face wash. I woke up the next morning and had to run to the drug store to get allergy medicine because my whole face was so swollen. It's been a day and my whole face is now bumpy and feels like leather. I wanted to love this product but after that I will not be using again.

Best I’ve ever purchased
I worked in the cosmetic industry for a major line for years. I was so surprised after trying this facial wash I’d absolutely love it. Great for all skin types. Small amount gives you great lather without drying my sensitive skin. Wow! I will continue to buy this item versus the high $ I had been using.

Great cleanser but can leave skin dry
I have typical combo skin (oily t-zone, normal elsewhere). I wanted a face wash w/o sulfates, and I definitely found the right product for that need. The face wash does foam up nicely and does a good job of removing most stay-proof makeup. It has a pleasant "spa like" scent from the essential oils in the ingredients. The product touts that your face will be "comfortably refreshed, never tight, pulled, or parched." However, my face does tend to be more dry after using the product than some other comparable face wash products I have used. Therefore, I am not 100% that I would re-purchase this product again.

I love this cleanser! It leaves my face super soft and it’s so good sometimes I can go without applying anything else but since I have mature skin I have to moisturize. Highly recommended!! So Gentle
i have sensitive, acne prone, dry and oily skin. the Checks and Balances face wash is the most effective face wash i've used thus far. it soothes my acne and my redness, prevents me from getting too oily, but also doesn't dry my skin out. i discovered it last year and i'm on my second now. i've used the aveeno clear complexion foaming cleanser, burstbees acne solutions scrub, origins antioxidant with white tea cleanser, african black soap for acne prone skin, the list goes on like way on. so i've tried my good share. while some of the ones i've listed have helped in some way or at least have done nothing to make my skin worse, it's with the checks and balances that i've seen the most improvement.

This light white cream becomes a gently scented foamy cleanser. A hint of spearmint adds a quick zing for a clean finish, like a breath of fresh air. Not drying, good for sensitive skin.
