An air-cushioned sole grounds a vintage-look oxford shaped in Quilon leather and styled with the brand's instantly recognizable rounded toe and heavy-duty sole. This special edition of the 1461 is from the brand's Made in England Vintage collection, styles that are handcrafted using original construction techniques by cobblers in their Wollaston factory. Quilon leather is traditionally crafted and features a contrasting base color to provide a two-tone finish. Heat-sealed and topstitched Goodyear welting ensures long-lasting wear.

Quality that stands stands out!
I bought these shoes for my grandson in jr. high. He likes to dress with style ! They take awhile to break in but it will be worth it ! I have a pair I bought in the 90’s and they barely show any wear. A quality made shoe that lasts and looks fabulous!

Excellent school shoes
I purchased these MIE Docs for my teenage daughter both for school wear and casual.

Comfortable and great looking
I took months before buying this . Reviewing and reading articles from various places . Finally made the decision to go with Made in England , which is lot of difference in feel quality etc . Breaking period around 2 to 4 weeks and post that it’s a great feeling to wear this shoes . It’s worth spending extra $ for made in England . Enjoying the shoes and happy with my purchase:)
