The hair above my upper lip was so fine I couldn't pluck them with a tweezer so I just let them go because my skin is sensitive to chemicals. I'm always a little skeptical when I find a new tool but I thought it was a small investment so I tried it. It worked like a charm. It was easy to use and didn't hurt too much. It does grab the hair so the result is a mulitple "plucking" action. It "plucks" in connection to the speed that the you turn the tool, so you can do it quickly or slowly depending upon your preference. I do it quickly and get it done. My skin was not irritated at all. It was a little red for an hour afterwards but that's it. I will never be without one again.

Well, for hirsute women who can’t afford or don’t want (pandemic anyone?) laser hair removal, it’s a godsend. I only need to shave first thing or before going out. For me, the only thing better than shaving was chemo. And that, having a face as smooth as a baby’s butt, was the best part about chemo (other than not dying of cancer, of course). My shaver saves time, stress and occasional, inadvertent, minor facial wounds. We’ve been conditioned to believe scary things about using men’s shavers on our face, but it won’t harm your skin, your hair won’t come back thicker and it won’t make you a man. So, consider trying shaving instead of these ongoing tools of torture; it improved my quality of life.
