A compact, versatile Dutch oven is crafted in France from premium cast iron for exceptional heat retention and distribution, with a smooth enamel interior.

What it does: The heavyweight, tight-fitting lid with self-basting spikes helps retains moisture for more flavorful results, and the secure, easy-grip handles allow for effortless transfer to and from the oven, even while wearing mitts.

Compatible heat sources: Compatible with all cooktops, including induction; oven safe up to 500ºF.

Includes: Dutch oven and lid.

Great pot!

This pot is great. If you see discoloration in the bottom of the pot it's from the food ingredients. Try pouring white distilled in the bottom of the pot, let it boil, clean with a sponge, pour out then rinse with warm water. This works very well.

DISGUSTING

I love Staub. However, I don't like receiving a used item! The Dutch Oven is disgusting inside. Where is Nordstrom's quality control? Please do better.

Great pot!

ignore a customer

I am very disappointed with nordstrom in this case. It came in a different color than the item I ordered, and it was sent to the customer without even checking that someone had used it. No matter how angry I am when I receive the item, I have to waste time and money having to return it.

not what I expected- but still great

I did not realize it was cast iron inside. I have used it several times and have not noticed the discoloration another review mentioned. Beautiful and well made. I was worried it would be too small to make a meal for four. However, that is not the case. Considering it is heavy, the smaller size is great.
