4-in-1 Skin Care Wand

I just stared using Solawave. I’m Black and Filipino but have a fairly light complexion. At almost 40 yrs old, I’m noticing sunspots and hyperpigmentation. And a few fine lines on my forehead. I wanted to try Solawave for anti-aging properties and better skin texture. After the 3rd use, I noticed a 1 inch dark spot on my forehead being very visible, which it used to be hardly noticeable unless my skin was super dry! I also have a spot on my jawline that I don’t remember having before. After the 3rd use, my skin was very irritated, red, and flaky. Almost like it was sunburnt. I was using Solawave every other day and not keeping the light in one area for more than 3 minutes per booklet. After a week rest, I tried it again but am not feeling too confident about using it now. I think I’m going to stop and return this item. I haven’t even seen the faintest difference now after the 4th use. I was using it every other day with the Kiehls Midnight Revovery Oil. PRO - The vibration makes my skin feel really relaxed. The warmth of the lights as well. But I’m concerned as it may not be the right product for me. I think I am now going to have to find a separate hyperpigmentation treatment

So many Pros to this little device. Small, travel friendly with a case, has a massage feature which feels delightful and probably helps with lymph drainage. Cons. As a previous reviewer mentioned, I too have noticed spots on my cheeks that were not there prior to the use of this device. I am a little worried now and don’t know if I should continue to use or not as the point is to not make a bigger problem. I started looking up information online but didn’t really find anything specific about it causing more spots, but could see how it would. I also felt drier after using even with my normal skincare routine. The other thing I read after using this was that you shouldn’t use it with certain retinol products. Of course, these are in my skincare routine. I feel as if I may be returning this one. Sorta bummed too as I had high hope for this.

Bought it in November on sale. Was hoping to see some results. I have these freckles on my left upper check which has been getting darker I think due to aging and being in the sun and was hoping this would help lighten it. I have been using it for almost 3 months now every night and I don’t see any results. It feels nice as it warms up and it is relaxing although your hand does get tire. I use it for 2 now sessions. Each time I think is 12 mins. I also concentrate it over my problem are and don’t see any lightening. Skin did feel a bit smoother after first use. I dont see any improvement in tone, depuff, renew, sculpt or tighten. I do find it soothin and maybe skin a little smoother. I’ll give it some more time and hopefully skin tone evens a bit.

Such a convenient little tool, easily small enough to travel with, and the heat and gentle massage really help my very dry skin absorb products better, plus you don’t have to use conduction gel with this, unlike so many other similar products. I do have very fair (as in white) sensitive skin, and I would suggest users with similar skin tones take care the first few times you use your Solawave as it can leave you a little pink, like a mild sunburn. Only happened the first time, and the results are really worth it.
