This Works!
The salve is an oil type ointment. Very unctuous. I put it on routinely after a shower/bath to avoid heel and foot crack formation.
It takes about 1 week to resolve serious foot damage (i.e., almost bleeding, painful linear cracks).
This is a great, therapeutic, serious treatment product.

This product is for FEET
I thought this was for cracked hands! But when I received it I noticed the foot in the corner above it's name and the smell is very potent. You wouldn't really want it on your hands especially at night which is when my skin repairs most. I don't really have a cracked skin problem on my feet so I can not speak to that unfortunately.

The best for cracked skin!
My 4 yo son has really sensitive dry and cracked skin on his palm..we’ve tried everything from prescribed creams from his doctor to store bought ie aquaphor and babo botanicals. Gehwol is the only gel that helped his skin heal. You only need a pea size gel..this entire tube last us about a year. It’s a staple at our house!!

Excellent Product
GEHWOL is excellent for cracked skin (heels, split skin on hands from dry winter weather, and anything else that has been abused by indoor heat). I've used it for years between professional pedicures. I apply the cracked skin salve on my feet, then cover with socks to absorb any excess. It does wonders! I highly recommend this product and am thrilled Nordstrom is carrying it.

Amazed, Impressed & Pleased!!
I am pleased and amazed at the effectiveness of this product! I had it sitting around for a long time before I gave it a try. I think I must have received it in some Gehwol kit/deal from Nordstrom so hadn't ordered it as a specific product that I just had to have. Probably came along with one of the miraculous foot files of the same brand. Anyway decided to give it a try about a month back and I have to get on board here and brag about just how great it is. My feet are soft and smooth and I love that.
The one thing that might put some folks off is that there is a bit of a medicinal smell to the product but guess what...I love that about it! Well I guess there are two things because it is also quite thick and you have to give it time to soak in at night so it won't feel greasy. But I don't worry about that because I appreciate how effective it is!!! Worth an extra two minutes of my time for the great results achieved!

Great for rough cracked skin
Purchased this for use on my heels and dry winter skin on my feet. It takes a Bit of massaging into the skin to absorb but it's perfect after a bath or shower. Rub in, then slip on a pair of socks or slippers and give it a little extra time to absorb. Works fabulously for those stubborn dry heels. There is a slight scent to it, but it isn't an unpleasant or chemical scent and the smell doesn't linger.

actually works!
I hav used this for years and years! Never going back to any other cream, I struggle with super dry skin that cracked on my heals, this location actually works after few uses my heal gets soft again.
