COMFORT
These sandals are extremely comfortable, even right out of the box. The shoes are larger than US SIZES. I usually wear a 10 but in these I wear 9.5 (size 43 European). They can be resoled by Mephisto which means as they get older for $75 they can have the bottom of the shoe replaced-almost brand new again for a fraction of the cost.

MEPHISTO SHARK SANDALS
Dear Nordstrom,
I have been wearing Mephisto Sharks for 10-12 years. One pair usually last me for two seasons. Most of my Sharks have been purchased at Nordstrom either in Sacramento or Roseville, CA. Sharks are the most comfortable and long lasting sandals that I have ever owned. This recent pair; however, the sole in the heel area of both sandals deteriorated in about two weeks. I have never experience this problem with any Mespisto foot wear before including Sharks. I am now using the previous pair of Sharks, which are kind of worn out insofar as the comfort is concerned, but the uppers and the soles are in very good shape. My wife has five pairs of the Womens version of the Shark, which is called Alligator. There are no similar issues with any of her Alligators. Because the sandals were new, I was essentially breaking them in by only wearing them indoors and on the back patios. What I was really doing was keeping them clean, because they don't require much breaking in at all.
I would like to return these Sharks either at the Roseville store, or whatever you suggest for a full refund. I may purchase a new pair from you next summer. In the mean time, I may not be wearing sandals very often during the winter, and I have the old pair of Sharks if I need to.

Sweet Sandals
I love these sandals, great arch support for walking longer distances not just around the pool and very stylish. The snap in clasp makes sure I have a great comfortable fit and the velcro adjustments make it easier to create a little room throughout the day if needed. Nordstroms didn't have it in the store but their easy,"ship to your house" was simple and I had them in just a few days. Great experience overall and I love the shoes. I recommend these to anyone who wants to do more than sitting by the pool.

This is the 3rd (or maybe 4th) pair of this brand of sandals that I've purchased for my husband. It's the only kind he'll wear.

Comfortable Sandals but pricy
These sandals are very comfortable for all day wear,and sporty,yet dressy enough to wear for a summer evenings out.
I am a clasic 9 m and several years back I had purchased the size 43 which acording to the size chart equals a size 9m. I had to bring back the size 43 and exchange for a size 42 which equals 8 to 8 1/2. The 42 fits me very well,really perfect in fact. It appears that the european size for a size "9", 43 is not correct.
it should be 42 &1/3 That would be a true US 9 size.
Well I did in fact buy my second pair this month .I agree these are very pricy.
the two pairs that I bought were on sale at Nordstroms at -40 % At that price a decent deal...Note;my old pair are still in great shape,but due to the previous sale I decided to buy a second pair

pricey but purrfect
Just a great walk-around casual/sheik platform. Superior level of finish and material means it transitions well... if your late afternoon resort stroll turns up a posh eatery, you need'nt worry about your footwear!
Multi adjustable for a just right fit means they have the kind of comfort that they simply disappear. What better can be said of sandals or ANY footwear?
Sounds like an ad guy wrote this huh, but I swear its all true.
