Comfortable and Good Quality
These shoes look great and are as comfortable as any casual shoes I have owned. Beware, though: they do run larger than the indicated size by about 1/2. I sent my first pair back because they were too big, something I had never otherwise encountered in buying shoes.

Always a great product, but not this time.
The shoes I purchased literally fell apart at the seams after one wearing. Obviously a quality control issue at the factory. My sales team member, Larmal, is handling on my behalf in an impeccable fashion and is sending a label for return and replacement. GREAT customer service in this one-off situation. I have owned Mephisto shoes or more that 20 years and can attest to their overall quality and durability; unfortunately this pair did not make the grade.

'CAP VERT' PENNY LOAFER
I own them in all three colors and been wearing them for years until I wore out the black pair so I reordered them.

Mephisto Boat Shoes
I've been sailing for most of my life and have worn many well-known brands of boat shoes during races and fun sailing. Like most sailors I also got into the habit of wearing hybrid leather boat shoes as casual footwear when off the boat. Most of these have been moccasin or loafer-look compromises, neither as dressy as standard leather styles nor as comfortable as real sailing shoes.
These Mephistos are by far the best leather boat shoes I've ever worn. They're great looking, rain and puddle-proof, and hand-made with excellent craftsmanship. They're also among the most comfortable shoes of any make that I've ever worn. Five stars.

Best casual show available
I've been wearing Mephisto penny loafers for years. One of the most comfortable and durable casual shoes for everyday informal wear. They are well made and need no "breaking in."
