27-Inch Medium Check-In Spinner Luggage

The luggage itself is totally fine, I love its aesthetic, and the wheels move effortlessly. Structurally the only problem I have with it is that the interior compression pad is not removable. However I only persuaded myself to drop this much money on an item that pretty much gets thrown and abused by strangers was the enticing lifetime guarantee I thought this came with from Monos. However their absurd company policy does not extend their warranty to products bought from Nordstrom. Sadly I did not know this when I dropped all this money on their luggage. There is nothing special aside from it being nice to look at that makes it worth the money without a warranty.

Firstly, I was pleasantly surprised at how light the check-in is! This will definitely help me to stay in the weight limits. The colour is beautiful, too. Inside, the compartments are great sizes and will help me stay organized while travelling. I haven’t used it yet, but the wheels are smooth and it works great with my duffel. I can’t wait to use them!

I have been looking for luggage for awhile I had 2 bags my late husband bought me 25 Yrs ago and the airlines ruined the overnight bag my last trip so I was due I read all the reviews and picked this brand. It does not disappoint! From unboxing ( which comes in a nice bag to keep it stored in) to picking your desired code for your lock the inside is as sleek as the outside with compression straps . You are given a welcome bag with a card telling you how to care for your bag, set your lock a name tag holder , an eraser for scuff marks should you get any, bags for your shoes, dirty clothes and extras . It has plenty of zippered compartments. It’s extremely well made. The zippers are sturdy . The handle is very sturdy . The wheels spin effortlessly. I bought the Storm grey which is classy. The design of the bag is classy and lightweight. It certainly makes you excited for travel plans ! This is not just another last minute suitcase purchased at Target to get to Disneyland. This luggage will be handed down to my granddaughter after me. It will then become something to take along her journey in life, to all her adventures.

I wanted to wait until after I took this luggage on a trip to write a review, because it is absolutely beautiful when you get it, but the proof is really in the use. The medium is enough for about a weeks worth of female overpacking, were I to go on a longer trip I would opt for the large. It also had no room for me to bring back any purchases, so if you shop opt for a large. You can fit a LOT in the medium, I was honestly surprised, and the shell is light so you get every inch worth of space before you have to pay over 50lbs. TONS of belts and pockets for my organization obsession, and extra wet/dry bags included that were so helpful for packing shoes. It glides along bumpy roads, gaps, elevators and escalators- anything you can imagine really, seamless. The handle adjusts to all kinds of heights which I discovered by accident and it ended up being super helpful. Yes, it does get dirty when loaded/unloaded from the plane, but a magic eraser and 5 minutes makes it clean as new, super durable against scratches. (Mine had none after 2 prop planes!) Unique colour, I spotted my luggage instantly, and everyone asked me where I got it. I have to mention their customer service as well. I ordered far before my trip so I was in no rush, and also ordered the metro duffle which was backordered. I fired off an email to let them know they could nest the duffle in the luggage when available to avoid double shipping cost for them (and receiving), they responded immediately and made it happen! Very polite as well, happy to help with anything. I call this my 'adult luggage', because I've had a lot of luggage and worn right through them with one trip, and I finally have a set that is stylish AND durable. Invest in a set, you will not regret it, I'll be buying a larger one for sure.

I had read reviews on both this brand and Away luggage and eventually decided on Monos for the color which almost matched my old Boyt luggage. Sadly, the medium size was a lot smaller than my old luggage so I could not use it on my six week trip. I took the carry on and was pleased with the size but it really took a beating! By the second flight of four there were noticeable scratches that could not be erased with the neat little sponge that comes with the luggage. I am going to return the medium now that I have returned from my trip. It’s not what I wanted to do but between the size that does not quite measure up and the durability issue, I don’t think it is worth the money.
